Lights out and away they go: buk Solutions provides interpretation services for leading F1 team event

We have been involved in some very exciting projects in 2018 and our recent work with an international Formula One racing team was definitely no exception.

Our team of technicians was invited to provide interpretation equipment for a meeting held by one of the leading F1 constructors at their headquarters.

With the racing season currently in full swing, 100 delegates attended a conference held by a major sponsor for the F1 team, where there were five languages being spoken. As well as interpretation equipment, we also supplied audio and video systems to support the event, delivering a bespoke service to match the sponsor’s needs.

This was a particularly challenging assignment with the smaller multiple rooms within the venue presenting some space limitations. Due to the size of the space, we had to set up the interpretation booth in remote locations – we used a relay camera system from the main room to the booth room.

All of the audio and video signals were run by the buk Solutions technical team, who were expertly managing the delivery of the event.

We were delighted to be able to offer our services for this event and the team once again demonstrated their proactivity and flexibility in their approach. A great result at the chequered flag for buk solutions.

buk Solutions, with its worldwide distribution capability, can supply equipment, interpreters and support staff anywhere in the world, coordinated from its UK office.

In any environment, whether it be at a conference, board room or court room, it is essential that those in the space can see the person who is speaking. In these scenarios, the most practical method of tracking the speaker is to direct the camera to the microphone location using camera control software.
