buk Solutions provided technical solutions at the AI Safety Summit 2023 on the 1st and 2nd of November at Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire. They were selected by Identity Group to supply interpretation equipment, delegate push-to-talk microphone systems, and automated PTZ camera systems. Additionally, buk Solutions provided an experienced team of project managers and technicians to support the event across the entire site at Bletchley Park.

The UK Prime Minister hosted the AI Safety Summit 2023 on the 1 and 2 November at Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire. https://www.aisafetysummit.gov.uk/

The summit brought together international governments, leading AI companies, civil society groups and experts in research. They considered the risks of AI, especially at the frontier of development, and discussed how they can be mitigated through international coordinated action.

leveraging the expertise

Significantly leveraging the expertise and experience of buk Solutions technical support they successfully installed full interpretation and multiple microphone systems. This included PTZ camera solutions, including an interpretation hub, with the interpreted audio distributed across a site-wide Dante network.

Also the interpretation hub within the Mansion House contained 10 dual interpreter booths, a listening room and dante enable equipment. This facilitated interpretation across a Dante network to a number of temporary structures which included, the Main Plenary meeting space and 8 additional rooms.

The main plenary meeting room was a focal point of the site, this is where the world leaders congregated. It featured our popular state of the art automated Brahler microphone system, Sony PTZ cameras and Televic IR transmission system.

Each meeting room had its own interpretation requirements and delegate push to talk microphones throughout the show at different times requiring re-structuring to the network to get the correct languages to the ever-changing room configuration and requirements in each room.

So the meeting was a great success with 28 countries at the summit. The attendees included the United States, China, and the European Union, issuing an agreement known as the Bletchley Declaration. Consequently this called for international co-operation to manage the challenges and risks of artificial intelligence.
